Health & Wellness Director Are you a motivated, community minded individual? Do you have great leadership skills, a customer focus and experience in health club facilities? Details The Carlton Baths Community Centre, managed by the YMCA, is looking for a Health and Wellness Director to work as part of a dedicated management team as it reopens after its 10.4 million dollar redevelopment. The centre is designed to provide the community with a range of recreation, social, cultural and educational experiences and is equipped with a one court stadium, health club, group fitness, cycle and multi-purpose rooms and a 25 metre heated outdoor pool and 10 metre toddler pool.
The Health and Wellness Director will have experience in all facets of staff management, management of health club facilities and will excel in developing and creating best practice initiatives that will be used across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement all health and wellness systems
- Use innovation and leadership to implement industry leading programs and services
- Oversee the gym, personal training and group fitness
- Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and business plans for relevant area

- Certificate III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent)
- Senior First Aid
- Working with Children’s Card
- Pool Lifeguard Award with Defibrillator
