The Bridge Project

The Y’s Bridge Project empowers vulnerable young people from the juvenile justice and prison systems and provides them with training skills, employment, practical skills and opportunities to successfully integrate back into the workforce and importantly, to connect back to their families and society. The reoffending rate for young people leaving the juvenile or penitentiary system in Victoria is over 50%, however, this rate is cut to 3% through the Bridge Project. The program is run by the Y in Victoria.
