Supporting sustainable solutions – recycling uniforms The Y is committed to supporting sustainable solutions, decreasing our carbon footprint and contributing to regenerate the earth. One of the Y’s exciting initiatives is offering a sustainability solution for the recycling of old uniforms. At the end of last year, Y Services launched its first ever national recycling program, partnering with Textile Recyclers Australia, to help make it super easy for all of our centres to recycle old uniforms, keeping apparel and other textiles out of landfill, while investing in circular solutions for the textile industry.
