Our Youth Leadership Programs:

At the Y, we believe that young people are not just the leaders of the future, they are leaders today.

Young people always have and always will be a driving force in our world. And the Y commits to creating a better world, with and for young people.

We actively encourage leadership from young people in their local communities, through a number of avenues.

​UNO-Y

Pronounced ‘you-know-why’, UNO-Y is an annual six day leadership program for young people from across Victoria, providing mentoring and guidance to build leadership skills and grow confidence of potential social leaders, empowering them to make change in their own communities. More information about UNO-Y here.​

​​Inspired Leaders

Y Inspired Leaders is a National Leadership Program giving young Staff and Volunteers across the organisation the skills to become community change makers. Participants of the program are motivated, inspired and passionate individuals who are making a difference in their centres and communities. ​​​Y-Voice

Y-Voice is a team of young people who advise and collaborate with senior executives at Y Victoria. We help to set the agenda and provide significant input into issues that affect young people. See more information about Y-Voice Victoria here and about Y-Voice Ballarat here
